About Griffith College
Established in 1974, Griffith College is Ireland's largest independent third-level institution, with campuses in Dublin, Cork, and Limerick.
The main Dublin campus is located within a mile of St. Stephen's Green on Dublin's South Circular Road. Situated on seven acres and offering a wide range of amenities, it is a historic site with original campus buildings dating back to 1813.
Griffith College enjoys a national and a growing international reputation for student success. The College marked an important milestone in 2024 when it celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding. Over the past half-century, Griffith has made a significant contribution to third-level education in Ireland. Many former students have gone on to distinguished careers in Ireland and internationally, in fields as diverse as accountancy, business, computing, design, engineering, law, media, music and drama.

Recipients of the College’s Distinguished Fellowship Award conferred on individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to Ireland, include Mary McAleese, the 8th President of Ireland, and Nobel Laureates Seamus Heaney and John Hume.
