Under the leadership of the Provost and the Associate Vice-President, Equity and Inclusion, McMaster has committed to hiring up to 12 emerging and established academics and scholars who will contribute to the advancement of Black academic excellence across all six Faculties.
Our faculty members teach, mentor and inspire students, helping them tackle some of the world’s toughest challenges. The Office of the Provost dedicates resources to supporting faculty and recognizing teaching excellence in and outside of the traditional classroom.
The Office of the Provost collaborates closely with the McMaster University Faculty Association (MUFA), which represents the interests of all faculty members and senior academic librarians.
