Minimum English language proficiency requirements for international students at Tai Poutini Polytechnic:
- Certificate & Diploma Programs (Level 3–5):
- IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 5.5 (with no individual band below 5.0).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 46.
- PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 42.
- Diploma & Applied Programs (Level 6–7):
- IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 6.0 (with no individual band below 5.5).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 60.
- PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 50.
