Their thinking pattern is broad and given a case study, they look at all angles from accounting to finance to laws while proposing the solution. The situation at TISS is also quite similar. Now one can say that the curriculum can be replicated and learned faculty can be sought to match the quality of the HR program at these institutes. Its own culture, ethics, and background have a lot to do with the programs it offers. So one cannot match XLRIs programs no matter how much they try.

The XLRI Jamshedpur campus is spread across 50 acres in the Circuit House Area, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. It is situated near Tata Main Hospital and is well connected to major transport hubs in the city.

The campus has 22 air-conditioned amphitheatre-style classrooms, four syndicate rooms, and smart teaching facilities. There are three auditoriums, including the 1,500-seat Tata Auditorium, used for academic and cultural events.

The Sir Jehangir Ghandy Library houses 66,000+ books, 16,000+ bound journal volumes, and 170+ print and online journals. The campus has a gigabit fibre network with computer labs, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and digital learning resources.

Separate residential halls for men and women provide 400+ on-campus rooms with internet connectivity, recreation areas, and dining facilities. The PGDM (GM) programme has dedicated air-conditioned hostel accommodation with modern amenities. Hostel accommodation is compulsory for students in the flagship residential programmes.

The sports complex includes football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, badminton facilities, and the SC Sarkar Gymnasium. For medical support, students have easy access to the nearby Tata Main Hospital, a leading multi-specialty hospital in Jamshedpur.
