Candidates applying to the undergraduate biotechnology programme must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics, and English as a subject of study. Students appearing in the qualifying examination in the year of admission may apply and are considered provisionally until they produce their result. Candidates applying to a postgraduate programme must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant science or biotechnology discipline. The minimum marks in the qualifying examination, category relaxations and any age condition are set out in the university's official admission notification.
