Global Management Common Aptitude Test Exam Pattern 2026

The GMCAT 2026 is a computer-based test held online. It is a remote proctored exam, so you can take it from any location.

The exam has 100 multiple-choice questions for a total of 100 marks. You get 60 minutes to complete the paper. The exam is conducted only in English.

The question paper is divided into 4 sections, with 25 questions in each section. Each section carries 25 marks.

• Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC): 25 questions on vocabulary, grammar, sentence completion, reading comprehension, and para jumbles.
• Quantitative Aptitude (QA): 25 questions on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, probability, and permutation & combination.
• Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (LRDI): 25 questions on logical puzzles, data interpretation, series, and seating arrangements.
• General Knowledge & Business Awareness: 25 questions on current affairs, business concepts, economics, marketing, and political awareness.
