Students must sit all 6 exams. Only the 5 highest-scoring subjects contribute to the overall percentage.
Mathematics Exam Structure
The MSBSHSE Class 10 Mathematics exam covers Part 1 (Algebra) and Part 2 (Geometry). Each part is worth 40 marks, in a single 3-hour paper.
An additional 20 marks come from school-evaluated internal assessment. This brings the subject total to 100 marks.
Step-wise marking applies in Mathematics. Each correct step earns marks even if the final answer differs.
Important Dates for MSBSHSE Class 10 Exam 2027
The MSBSHSE SSC exam 2027 is expected in February – March 2027. This follows the 2026 cycle where papers ran from February 20 to March 18.
The official 2027 timetable is expected from MSBSHSE by October – November 2026 at mahahsscboard.in.
As of July 2026, MSBSHSE has not officially announced any changes to the Class 10 exam pattern for 2027. The exam is expected to follow the same structure as 2026.
