Tamil Nadu Board Class X Exam Eligibility Criteria 2027

Students who have completed their 9th standard from a recognized school in Tamil Nadu are eligible to appear for the exam. Those who completed their 9th standard outside Tamil Nadu may also apply, provided they obtain a transfer certificate from their previous school. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam. Students typically take the exam once after completing the 10th standard, as it is a terminal examination for secondary education in the state.
