UP NEET PG Counselling

The state process covers the state-quota seats in government medical colleges together with the seats in private, minority and other participating institutions as notified, while the all-India quota seats in the same colleges are allotted separately by the national Medical Counselling Committee. A candidate registers on the state portal, pays the registration and security amounts, fills and locks choices of college and speciality, and receives an allotment determined by merit rank, category and preference. Several rounds are held, followed by mop-up and stray-vacancy rounds, each with its own rules on upgradation, resignation and forfeiture of the security deposit. Admission is confirmed only after document verification and joining at the allotted college within the notified date. The round schedule, seat matrix, fee structure and bond conditions are published in the official information bulletin each year.
