UP NEET PG Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2026

A candidate must hold an MBBS degree recognised by the National Medical Commission, must have completed or be due to complete the compulsory rotating internship by the cut-off date notified, must hold permanent or provisional registration with a state medical council or the national commission, and must have a valid qualifying result in the NEET PG examination for the year. For dental seats the corresponding BDS degree and registration apply. Eligibility for state-quota seats further depends on the domicile and institutional conditions set out in the state counselling notification, which also states the qualifying percentile and any category relaxation.
