Fees
Fees at IIT Jodhpur for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering program consist of various components. The annual tuition fee is Rs 200,000. Additional costs include semester fees, usually Rs 27,500 per semester, with a total semester cost amounting to Rs 100,000 per year, and mess fees which are approximately Rs 38,000 annually. Hostel fees are also incurred, contributing to a total yearly expense of around Rs 300,000.
Financial concessions are available for students from reserved categories such as SC, ST, and PWD, with tuition fee waivers offered and only hostel and semester fees applicable. Income-based fee remissions are also provided, with a full waiver for families earning less than Rs 1 lakh yearly and a two-thirds tuition remission for those earning between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
