To apply you need to meet these conditions: Applicants must be citizens of a developing Commonwealth country, including refugees or British protected persons. They should hold a first degree with at least an upper second-class honours or its equivalent by August of the academic year. Candidates must be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country and available to start studies in the UK by September or October of the relevant year. Priority is given to those who would not otherwise afford study in the UK.
