About this Scholarship
The India-Japan Cooperative Science Programme (IJCSP) is a government‑funded initiative that enables Indian researchers to partner with Japanese scientists on joint research projects and workshops. It is jointly administered by the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. The programme aims to strengthen bilateral scientific collaboration by providing funding for collaborative activities across all disciplines.
Eligible proposals may cover joint research, joint workshops, seminars, and related activities, and are evaluated on scientific merit and the potential for sustained partnership between the two countries.
