To apply you need to meet these conditions: Candidates must have completed a diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institution to apply for lateral entry. For B.Tech programmes, a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Naval Architecture is typically required. For B.Sc in Nautical Science, a diploma in Nautical Science or a related field is preferred. General eligibility includes passing the qualifying examination with a minimum percentage as specified by IMU.
