Eligibility Criteria
Because this is an admission notice, the conditions are course entry conditions rather than scholarship criteria. The postgraduate diploma in print journalism is generally open to graduates in any discipline from a recognised university, with a working command of English and an aptitude for reading and writing on current affairs. Candidates awaiting their final degree results are sometimes allowed to apply provisionally.
Selection typically involves a written test and an interview rather than marks alone. The degree requirement, age conditions and selection stages that apply to the current intake are set out in the school's own admission notification.
How to Apply
Candidates should obtain the prospectus and application form for the current intake through the route the school specifies in its notification, which in the past has involved requesting the printed prospectus or downloading the form. The completed form, with degree and school certificates, proof of identity and the prescribed application payment, is then submitted to the school by the announced closing date, after which shortlisted candidates are called for the written test and interview. Because the fee, the payment method and the submission address change between cycles, applicants should confirm the current procedure directly with Manorama School of Communication before sending anything.
