About this Scholarship
The Sikyong Professional Scholarship Program (SPSP) offers ₹900,000 to four high-achieving Tibetan students from India, Nepal, and Bhutan for a postgraduate Master’s degree in Medicine, Law, or Business Studies at top colleges or universities in India. Administered by the Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration in partnership with the Tibet Fund, New York, the scholarship supports students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential. It aims to strengthen professional capacity among Tibetan youth across these three countries.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Tibetan students currently residing in India, Nepal, or Bhutan. They should have secured admission to a postgraduate program in Medicine, Law, or Business Studies at a recognized institution in India. Preference may be given to candidates with strong academic records and demonstrated financial need.
Proof of identity and residency status will be required during application.
