Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling

The process covers the seats in Madhya Pradesh that are filled through the state quota, while the remaining share is filled by the national counselling committee. It runs in sequential rounds and each round follows the same sequence: online registration on the state portal, payment of the prescribed fees, uploading and verification of documents, choice filling and locking of colleges and courses, publication of a state merit list, and seat allotment on the basis of NEET rank, category and reservation rules of the state. Allotted candidates report to the college, complete verification and pay the fee, after which they may be eligible for upgradation in a later round or may have to withdraw under the stated rules. Mop-up and stray vacancy rounds follow if seats remain. The number of rounds, fees, bond conditions and forfeiture rules are laid down in the directorate's counselling notification.
