A candidate registers on the state portal within the notified window, pays the registration and security amounts, uploads documents establishing domicile and category, fills and locks an ordered list of colleges and courses, and receives an allotment decided by
NEET rank, category and preference. The process runs over successive rounds, followed by mop-up and stray-vacancy rounds, each with its own rules on upgradation, resignation and forfeiture of the deposit, and admission is confirmed only when the candidate reports at the allotted college with original documents within the stated time. Government, private and, where notified, minority institutions in the state participate, along with the seats set aside under state government schemes. The seat matrix, fee and bond conditions, category definitions and round-wise schedule are published in the official information brochure for the year.
