To apply you need to meet these conditions: The scheme is intended for Indian students admitted to, or about to join, a trade course at a recognised Industrial Training Institute, and has generally been open to applicants of any gender. Applicants are usually expected to have completed their secondary school examination with the minimum marks the sponsor specifies and to belong to a household within the family income ceiling fixed for the cycle. Proof of admission to the trade course, previous academic results and an income certificate are normally required. As these conditions are revised between cycles, they should be confirmed from the official scheme notification before an application is prepared.
