About this Scholarship
Bharathidasan University, a NAAC accredited institution, invites applications for admission to M.Phil Regular (Full-Time/Part-Time) Programmes in its University Departments and Affiliated/Autonomous Colleges for the academic year 2017-2018.
Application forms and prospectuses can be obtained from The Registrar, Bharathidasan University, Palkalaiperur, Tiruchirappalli -620 024, by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred only) /Rs.250/- (Rupees Two hundred and fifty only) for SC/ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of an attested copy of the Community Certificate.
The Demand Draft must be drawn in any Nationalized Bank in favour of ‘BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI’ on or after 04.06.2017. Name and address of the applicant and the programme applied for should be mentioned on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
Application forms and prospectuses can also be downloaded from the University Website www.bdu.ac.in. Downloaded Applications should be submitted with a Demand Draft for the amount mentioned above (whichever the case is necessary).
The last date for issue and receipt of filled-in Application Form is 07.07.2017. The University reserves the right to suspend any of the above Programmes, if the circumstances so warrant.

Eligibility criteria for M.Phil Programme include:
- Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates).
- Qualifying marks in the entrance test conducted by the University.
- Other eligibility criteria as specified by the University.
