Eligibility Criteria
No scholarship conditions attach to this entry. Eligibility to sit a state entrance examination is set separately for each course stream in the prospectus the office publishes for that admission year, and typically covers nationality, state residence or nativity, the qualifying school examination and the subject combination studied, minimum marks in those subjects, and in some streams an age limit. Reservation categories and the certificates needed to claim them are also defined there.
These conditions are revised annually and can differ between courses, so a candidate should read the current prospectus on the official website rather than rely on any summary.
How to Apply
Candidates apply directly to the examination authority through the online application system it opens for each admission year, creating a candidate profile, entering academic and category details, uploading a photograph, signature and supporting certificates, and paying the prescribed fee online. After the examination, the same profile is used for option registration and centralised seat allotment, with candidates confirming or upgrading allotted seats at each round. Because the examination calendar, the fee and the document list change every year, applicants should follow the current notification and prospectus published on the office's official website and work to the announced closing date given there.
