The CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) 2014 scholarship supports Indian students pursuing a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for the PhD Programme in sciences and engineering. Research areas include chemistry, biology, biotechnology, microbiology, environmental sciences, genetics, zoology, physics, and allied sciences for science streams, and chemical or mechanical engineering for engineering streams.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, etc.) with a valid rank in CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, DST-INSPIRE, ICMR, or DBT fellowship. For engineering, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required, along with a qualifying fellowship or NET score. Candidates must be Indian nationals.
