About this Scholarship
The Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowships 2027-2028 support Indian PhD scholars who need to conduct research in the United States as part of their doctoral programme. The fellowship funds living costs, tuition and required fees while the scholar is abroad. It is designed for candidates whose research is forward-looking, technology-oriented and aligned with key priority areas shared by India and the U.S.
Selected fellows audit courses, gain practical experience and build long-term academic capacity in both countries.
