About this Scholarship
The IIFM – M.Phil. in Natural Resource Management is a postgraduate diploma programme for students who wish to specialise in the sustainable management of forests, water, land and other natural resources. Run by the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, the course combines classroom teaching, fieldwork, seminars, national and international study tours, and a dissertation. The programme is designed for graduates who want to work in government agencies, research institutions, NGOs or private firms on natural-resource policy, conservation and livelihood issues.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree or an equivalent postgraduate diploma recognised by a statutory Indian university. There are no age limits or income ceilings. Seats are open to all categories; however, reservation follows Government of India norms for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and Persons with Disabilities.
