The IISER Bhopal Admission to Ph.D. Programme offers Indian students the opportunity to pursue doctoral research in science disciplines. This government-funded programme is open to candidates with a master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics.
The institute, established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, provides financial assistance to selected scholars through recognized fellowships such as GATE, UGC, CSIR, JEST, ICMR, DBT, or NBHM scores.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold an M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant discipline. A valid score from GATE, UGC, CSIR, JEST, ICMR, DBT, NBHM, or any other recognized national examination is required. The programme is open to Indian citizens only.
