The Institute Of Town Planners, India, offers an Associateship Examination for students who meet the required qualifications.
The examination is open to individuals with a background in architecture, civil engineering, or related fields, including a degree in B.Arch, BE, B.Tech (Civil), B.Planning, or equivalent, or a postgraduate degree in Geography, Sociology, Economics, or a post-diploma in Town Planning.
Candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination and at least one year of experience in town planning work.
Applications can be downloaded from the ITPI website and must be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for the application form and Rs. 250 for the processing fee) in favor of the Institute Of Town Planners, India, payable at New Delhi.
