The NIT – M.Tech Admission 2010-11 offers postgraduate engineering seats in six National Institutes of Technology (NITs) through a single counselling process. It is for students who have completed a relevant undergraduate degree and wish to pursue full-time M.Tech programmes in the academic year 2010-11. Admission is based on academic merit and performance in national-level entrance tests, with seats allocated across NIT campuses in Agartala, Calicut, Rourkela, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or a master’s degree in science with marks as specified by the admitting NIT. Reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD) are eligible for relaxation as per government norms. Candidates must qualify in GATE or a recognized entrance examination.
Final-year students may apply provisionally.
