About this Scholarship
The Protean e-Gov Renewal Scholarship Scheme supports Indian students pursuing full-time undergraduate medical courses by helping them meet tuition and related costs. This centrally managed scholarship is open to all eligible medical undergraduates who meet the financial and academic criteria set for the current academic year. It is not available to children of Protean e-Gov employees.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate medical programme and have secured at least 60% marks in Class 12. Family income must be below the threshold published on the official portal for the current financial year. There are no restrictions based on gender, caste or domicile.
Applicants must not be employees or dependent children of Protean e-Gov.
How to Apply
Visit the official Vidyasaarathi portal listed on the scholarship page. Register with your Aadhaar number and create a login. Fill in the renewal application form, upload Class 12 marksheet and income certificate, and submit before the closing date.
Keep a copy of the submitted form and reference number for future use.
