A student or parent registers on the portal, completes the profile with school, family income and bank account details, selects this scheme from the list of schemes accepting applications, and uploads the documents requested. Papers commonly asked for include a photograph, proof of identity and address, the class 10 mark sheet, a bonafide certificate from the school, the school fee receipt, an income certificate or income tax return, and a bank passbook copy.
