About this Scholarship
The German Chancellor Fellowship supports early-career professionals from Brazil, China, India, Russia, and the USA who want to launch their careers in Germany. It is open to candidates from all fields and disciplines. The fellowship provides an opportunity to develop an independent project under the guidance of a host institution in Germany.
Fellows join a global network of emerging leaders, gaining professional experience and cross-cultural exposure.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to Indian citizens who hold a bachelor's or master's degree and have up to 12 years of professional experience. Applicants must have a host institution or mentor in Germany willing to support their project. There are no minimum marks or income requirements, but candidates should demonstrate leadership potential and a clear project proposal.

Develop a project idea and secure a host in Germany willing to mentor you. Prepare an application including a project proposal, CV, and letters of recommendation. Submit the application through the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s online portal before the deadline.
