Minimum English language proficiency requirements for international applicants at Cal State LA:
- IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band score of 6.0 for undergraduate admissions and 6.0 to 6.5 for postgraduate admissions depending on the program.
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 61 for undergraduate applicants and 80 for graduate applicants.
