Albizu University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267-284-5000) www.msche.org. The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Albizu University is accredited by MSCHE since 1974.

American Psychological Association (APA) The following academic programs are accredited by APA: Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology programs offered at the San Juan Campus, the Miami Campus, and the Mayagüez University Center. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology offered at the San Juan Campus. Status for the four programs: Accredited.

The following academic programs are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association: Master in Speech-Language Pathology (MS) offered at the San Juan Campus (Residential since 2012) and the Mayaguez University Center (Satellite Campus since 2015) Status: Accredited on Probation

Master in Speech-Language Pathology (MS) offered at the Miami as Residential and Distance Education modalities. Status: Accredited.
