Delft University of Technology History
Delft University of Technology was first established on Jan 8, 1942 by King William II of Netherlands. Later in 1905, another act was passed and the name of the school was changed to Technische College of Delft which focused on the academic quality of education. During 1986, Delft University of Technology had officially changed its name to Delft University of Technology and during 1987, the Delft Top Tech Institute was established.
