At Gisma University of Applied Sciences, we are proud to announce that we have officially joined the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) as a Signatory Member. This important milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering sustainability, ethics, and responsible leadership within all our business education initiatives. PRME, launched in 2007 during the UN Global Compact Leaders’ Summit in Geneva, stands as the largest collaboration between the United Nations and global business schools. Its primary mission is to integrate the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into academic institutions, encouraging the next generation of leaders to prioritise sustainability and ethical practices.

As a PRME Signatory Member, Gisma joins a distinguished network of universities and business schools around the world which are committed to transforming business education. Through our partnership with PRME, we will continue to actively promote sustainable practices within our curriculum, research, and campus initiatives, equipping our students with the skills and mindsets necessary to navigate complex global challenges. Being part of PRME also enables us to work more closely with UN Global Compact participants, aligning our educational efforts with businesses emphasising sustainability. This collaboration not only enhances our students’ employability opportunities but ensures they graduate with a clear mindset of social and environmental responsibility.
