For your application to HTW Berlin, you will need certain language certificates depending on the degree programme and the origin of your higher education entrance qualification. Please submit these documents by the application deadline.

If you obtained your higher education entrance qualification in a non-German-speaking country, you will need proof of German language skills. This also applies if you have German citizenship but obtained your degree abroad.

You have the opportunity to take the DSH examination directly at HTW Berlin.

The exam dates will be published shortly before the application periods for the summer and winter semesters via the link above.Please note that the ZEFS registration confirmation for this DSH exam is accepted as provisional proof of language proficiency for applications for a study place at HTW Berlin.

Proof of English language proficiency is required to apply for an English-language degree programme. Such proof must not be older than two years at the time of application.

Further language tests can be recognised after individual examination by the respective examination board.
