Iowa State University offers a large variety of scholarships for its international students. ISU scholarships attracts students from all over the worl. Some of the scholarships offered to international first-year students are International Merit Awards and International Student Excellence Awards. The details of these scholarships are given below:
International Merit Awards
Scholarship selection for this scholarship is competitive and based on a holistic review of SAT or ACT scores and high-school marks / grades. To be considered for this award, students have to fill out the scholarship application. The award of achievement is up to USD 40,000 (USD 5,000 - USD 10,000 per year) and the Award of Distinction is up to USD 16,000 (USD 2,000 - USD 4,000 per year).
