Completing the FAFSA is your ticket to federal student aid. Northern uses this application to determine your eligibility for school and state-specific aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may be filed beginning October 1 each year.

Applications submitted before March 1 are given priority consideration for federal supplemental grants and federal work study.
