Scripps College is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), where WASC stands for Western Association of Schools and Colleges, one of six institutional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Scripps last completed an accreditation process in March 2023, receiving an eight-year reaffirmation period through to spring 2031, a testament to Scripps’ sound institutional foundation, infrastructure, and educational effectiveness.
