History
The institute began in 1832 as a winter school for building craftsmen on the lower Konigstrasse opposite the King's stables at the time. The Egle Building (today's Building 1) was built by Jos von Egle between 1967 and 1973. For 190+ years, the university has trained and produced sought-after junior staff via its UG and PG courses.
