The TH Bingen admissions are not tough for Indian students asit operates on ‘open admission policy’. This means that if an Indian student meets the TH Bingen admission eligibility, they will get a spot (based on capacity). There are no entrance exams and no cut offs for the current intakes.
The TH Bingen University application can be submitted via its inCampo portal. The TH admission deadline is Sep 15, 2026 (Winter Intake) for most PG and UG courses.
An APS certificate is mandatory which verifies all your Indian credentials are genuine and meet the German requirements. The processing takes 4 to 6 weeks and can stretch to 2 to 3 months too.

Postgraduate Admission Requirements
- A relevant UG (minimum 3 to 4 years / 180+ ECTS equivalent), with a final grade equivalent to German 2.5 or better (roughly 60–65%+, depending on the Indian university’s grading scale)
- For English-taught MSc programmes (Computer Science, Environmental Sustainability): English at B2 (IELTS 5.5 to 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72+ or TOEIC 785+)
- For German-taught Master’s programmes: German at B2/C1
- A valid APS certificate, plus a uni-assist preliminary review (VPD) for holders of foreign degrees.
Undergraduate Admission Requirements
- A completed Class 12 (HSC) is generally not sufficient on its own for direct UG entry.
- Most Indian students complete a Studienkolleg (1-year foundation course) first
- 1 year of a recognised Indian Bachelor’s degree can sometimes qualify for direct entry, assessed individually via uni-assist, German language proof at B2/C1 (Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, DSH, or Studienkolleg Feststellungsprüfung) for German-taught Bachelor’s courses
- A valid APS certificate
