UC Davis is a Tier-One research university. It is one of the members of the Association of American Universities, an organization of leading research universities dedicated to maintaining a strong system of academic research and education. 50% of the university’s UG students conduct research and creative projects beyond classroom. In 2024, the University of California Davis received USD 1.04 Billion in research funding. The university supports a number of research centers and labs including Bodega Marine Reserve, C-STEM Center, Center for Mind and Brain, etc.
