The University of Charleston offers a range of merit and need-based institutional scholarships as well as grants for international students. Some of the undergraduate academic scholarships provided at the university are given in the table below:

A few of the other scholarships offered to undergraduate students on campus are the Presidential Scholarship, Innovation Scholarship, Student Ambassador Scholarship, Legacy Scholarships, and the Scholars Program for Environmental Challenges. The eligibility requirements for the Presidential Scholarship are given as follows:
- Must have received an admission offer from the University of Charleston
- Student must have an average High School GPA of 3.75 or higher
- The student must demonstrate a record of leadership and citizenship
