The University of Duisburg-Essen is located in the middle of the Ruhr Metropolitan Region. And when we say "in the middle", we can take it literally.
With our three large locations - two campuses and the University Hospital Essen - as well as numerous outposts, we are centrally represented in two cities and (not only) have a significant influence on the cityscape.
