Indian students do not need to pay an application fee to apply to most of the PG courses at the University of Manchester. UCAS charges its own processing fee, which is around GBP 28.5 (INR 3.54K) for Manchester UG courses. The Manchester MBA can be applied to via the Alliance MBS dedicated portal (aliiancembs.manchester.ac.uk/study/mba/how-to-apply/).
University of Manchester Application Deadlines
The University of Manchester admissions are done in two intakes of the year and the September intake is the main intake. In January, only a few PG courses are available for admission. The UCAS equal consideration deadline is Jan 14, 2027 for most of the courses at Manchester. For highly competitive Manchester University courses like Medicine, Law and Dentistry, the UCAS deadline is Oct 15, 2026.

University of Manchester PG Eligibility for Indian Students
Postgraduate courses like MBA, MS in Finance, Computer Science and Data Science are competitive programs and need a better offering than the rest of the Manchester Uni courses. Look at the eligibility requirements for Indian students -
- UG degree with first class honours (60% to 75% or a CGPA of 6.0 to 7.5)
- GMAT with an average score of 639
- 3 years of work experience (MBA)
- IELTS with a 6.0 to 7.0 overall or TOEFL iBT with 72 to 109
Important: Mathematics is mandatory for courses in Engineering, Economics and Computer Science.
