Awards and Financial Aid helps students obtain the funds necessary to finance their UNBC education and to provide educational budgeting services. Funds may be obtained from a variety of sources, including government and bank loans, private, corporate, and public scholarships and bursaries, and UNBC awards.
The main awards competition for the 2026-2027 is now closed.
Missed the application deadline? There is still an opportunity to apply for awards when the Fall Awards Competition opens on September 15.
To apply students must be admitted to the University and have received a user ID and PIN number for their myUNBC Student Account. in order to access the on-line award applications.
The deadline to submit applications for the main awards competition is April 1.
Refer to the side menu "Undergraduate Awards" and "Graduate Awards" for more information.
UNBC students already in-course (i.e. students continuing in their undergraduate, graduate/doctoral programs) are able to apply using the myUNBC Student Account once the competition opens. Deadline April 1st.
