Pacific has 7,000 students in nine schools and colleges across three Northern California campuses in Stockton, Sacramento and San Francisco. All undergraduate degree programs are fully in person, as are most professional degree programs, while the university is successfully growing its offerings of all-online graduate degree programs.

The university's primary mission is to provide a superior, student-centered learning experience integrating liberal arts and professional education. Pacific has dramatically increased its sponsored-research portfolio in recent years, as well as its offering of market-driven degree programs.

Students receive individualized attention and support and take part in real-world learning experiences to unlock their academic and career potential, gain confidence and find success.

Pacific academic programs emphasize real-world learning through internships, externships, clinical rotations and public service placements as well as campus-based real-world learning and undergraduate research. The majority of undergraduate students are enrolled in an experiential learning course. The following are a few examples of the opportunities available to Pacific students.

The Eberhardt Student Investment Fundallows students to invest real money in a stock portfolio valued at more than $5 million and the Dreyfuss Family Fixed Income Fund is one of the few student-run fixed income funds in the nation.

The 10,000-square-foot Fletcher Jones Foundation Makerspace on Pacific's Stockton Campus provides students with space for prototyping, 3D printing, woodworking and more.

When the Jie Du Inn opens on the Stockton Campus, students will work and learn alongside staff at the boutique hotel as part of the new concentration in hotel and hospitality management within the business administration program.

Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy professor Melanie Felmlee meets with a student.
