UOW College has partnerships with international education institutions in India and China, to provide students with opportunities to access quality education delivered outside of Australia.
English for Tertiary Studies International is offered in collaboration with Beijing Jiaotong University for students undertaking the Twinning program in Mechatronics between UOW and BJTU. Students are able to complete part of their program at BJTU and then transfer to UOW to complete the remainder of their degree.
Whilst they are undertaking their study in Beijing, students concurrently study the English for Tertiary Studies International course over a one year period.
English for Tertiary Studies International is offered in collaboration with the CCNU Wollongong Joint Institute at the Central China Normal University in Wuhan. Students undertake their English study in Wuhan and then go on to complete the Joint Institute degrees of the Master of Computer Science and Master of Engineering (Telecommunications).
English for Tertiary Studies International is offered each year from July- August to students enrolling in these Joint Institute degrees. Over 850 students have graduated from this program.
English for Tertiary Studies and the Diplomas of Business and IT are offered in collaboration with HIEESC at Hebei Finance University, Baoding, Hebei Province. On successful completion of the course, students may continue their UOW study either in Australia or in Malaysia.
