WashU has over 100 areas of study for undergraduates and offers the flexibility to take classes across disciplines in four separate schools. When applying, undergraduates must select a specific school.
WashU offers over 60 doctoral and 80 master’s and professional programs. Admission to these programs is school- and department-based. If you have questions about specific degree programs, please direct them to the appropriate department or school.

Our financial aid office is committed to ensuring all admitted students can obtain a world-class WashU education without going into debt. The average financial award is $65,000. We have no-loan awards for all undergraduate students. For qualifying students from Missouri and southern Illinois, the WashU Pledge covers the cost of tuition, fees, housing and food for all four years.
