TISS Mumbai has separate hostels for girls and boys. There are two 7-story hostel buildings on the new campus, and they accommodate both Indian and international students. The 7th floor of each hostel is reserved for international students. The rest of the building has the same facilities, so students have plenty of opportunities to interact and make friends.
Hostel fees for SC/ST students are INR 18,000 per semester. This amount is payable in two instalments of INR 9,000 each. Mess fees are INR 20,000 per semester.
Admission to the TISS Mumbai hostel is offered by the faculty and the university's Study Centre. Your eligibility is determined based on the merit score obtained in entrance examinations such as TISS Mumbai, CUET, and CAT. To be eligible for a hostel, you must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
