The University maintains its presence across Magdeburg, with campuses at the University Square, Zschokkestrasse, and a Medical Campus. The Otto Von Guericke University Campus at University Square is the main campus of the university.

- Housing facilities are available in the form of dorms provided by the Student Union (or the Studentenwerk). Students will need to submit a housing application form to be eligible for a room.
- OVGU maintains active partnerships with the Center for Behavioral Brain Sciences, the Center for Dynamic Systems, and the Center for Medical Engineering and Health. Students get the chance to work with expert faculty and research members at the university on problem areas like Neurosciences, Medical Technology, Automotive, Digital Engineering, and Renewable Energy.
